now registered, including Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, East Germany and Poland. These countries are among many that will send representatives to the eight day event, August 4-11, for the first time.

Celebration '90 Director, Mark Mees, stated that the organizers are "amazed and delighted" by the early high numbers. Office Manager Mary Brookes echoed the same sentiments, "There are barely enough hours in the day to open and process the mail, even with staff and volunteers working around the clock."

With an estimated 22,000 visitors and participants at Celebration '90, travel plans should be made as soon as possible. "We have been told that many direct flights to Vancouver are booked solid from some major cities and that dozens of hotels are fully booked," states Mees.

Will Dugar of Cedar Hill Travel (7957676) is currently booking air and hotel packages, starting at $585. This rate is based upon double occupancy and is the per person rate for any seven days, between August 3-12. Hotel rooms are also available at single, triple and quadruple
